The Delaunay (WC2)

The Delaunay is definitely one of the most elegant players in the market. Following the same art deco ambiance as it’s little sibling “The Wolseley” as well as the same touch of elegance and glamour.
The first time I visited Delaunay must have been with my parents in one of their visits over however, whilst studying at LSE it soon became my breakfast spot, my coffee break, my little treat…
Delaunay is renowned for its scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, however my father who is a true pancake snob, he admitted he had – and i quote – “the best pancakes ever”.
My recommendation is always … variety. Go with friends and maybe after pay day, if you want to spoil yourselves and get a little bit of everything and share.
Another delicious choice has to be their lobster roll… it’s to die for!
Also, I know this will probably sound surprising, but the Delaunay counter has the best bircher muesli ever… !!!
Near the Royal Justice Courts at Aldwych, this cafe-bar restaurant will definitely take you a few years back in time, to an era of elegance, prestige, class and refined style! For more information and details on the menu click here.
Address: 55 Aldwych, London WC2B 4BB
